- VTC Enterprise Presolicitation Notice - Questions and Answers 1.Will the contract require installation of the products? ANSWER: Yes. Some orders will include installation. Please see the separately priced installation line items. When installation is required, travel will be priced at the delivery order level. 2.Can the work be performed from our offices or is there a specific work location required? ANSWER: When installation is required, work will need to be performed at the specific delivery order site. Also, on-site work might be required by the terms of a warranty. 3.What type (brand name) of equipment is currently in place? What is the To-Be product brand?- ANSWER: The majority of the video equipment is Cisco. However, the specific technical requirements for the products on this effort are included in the solicitation and should be carefully reviewed. 4. What labor categories will be performing the work on this contract? ANSWER: This is a firm fixed price contract. Offerors will determine how to price lines items requiring labor. 4.Who is the current incumbent(s)? ANSWER: None, as this is a new contract. 5.Will the final RFP/RFQ be open to all SDVOSBs or interested bidders only? ANSWER: The RFP will be solicited as a Veteran-owned Small Business set-aside. 6.Will there be any special vendor reseller criteria? (i.e. Gold status required or something of this nature) ANSWER: No. 7.I do have one question after reading the afore mentioned document, it states "This proposed acquisition will provide customers throughout all of VA with a means of procuring required VTC equipment to replace/refresh inventory to satisfy growing demands, and to boost productivity in their operations. Will this effort be a provider of product(s) only and ship to whomever/wherever?? Or will installation/de-installation, maintenance & scheduled service be part of the responsibility as well? ANSWER: Some orders will include installation. Please see the separately priced installation line items. When installation is required, work will need to be performed at the specific delivery order site. Also, on-site work might be required by the terms of a warranty.
