Description

SYNOPSIS: THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR POTENTIAL OFFERORS. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR OFFERS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. Please reference Request for Proposal (RFP) number VA791-16-R-0111. The Department of Veterans Affairs Denver Acquisition & Logistics Center (VA DALC), in support of the Veteran Health Administration is contemplating the issuance of a solicitation for a Performance Enhancement Solution to support VA Acquisition Academy's Warrior to Workforce Program (W2W). OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE: The objective of this procurement is to award a contract with a qualified vendor to provide Peak Performance Training to support Department of Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy Warrior to Workforce Program. The objective of this requirement is to obtain on-site delivery of a performance program for the VA's W2W program that, by the end of the 10-month evolution, will result in Veteran interns having the emotional control and mental capacity to matriculate into a rigorous certification program designed to provide the technical training leading to a Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting. CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: Denver Acquisition and Logistic Center, 555 Corporate Circle, Golden, CO 80401. SOLICITATION DETAILS: The North American Classification Codes is 611430 and the Small Business Size Standard is $11M. This is a service disabled veteran owned small business set-aside procurement for any and all qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable service disabled veteran owned small business entity(s) who can meet the requirements. The Government intends to establish a 1 year base and four option years contract with qualified vendor. Solicitation documents are expected to be made available no later than August 25, 2016 at the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. The anticipated closing date is 25 September 2016 and anticipated award date is 15 December 2016. The Contracting Specialist for this acquisition is Joe Hodge. Offerors interested in responding to this solicitation should provide their email addresses and contact information to joe.hodge@va.gov. The only terms and conditions that will apply to the solicitation and any resultant contract shall come from the Contracting Specialist/Officer through the release of the final RFP and any amendments, information received from other than the Contracting Officer to include other VA sources, are not binding on the VA. NOTE: Effective October 1, 2003, all contractors must be registered through the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization's (OSDBU) Vendor Information Pages (VIP) website as an active contractor in order to be eligible to enter into a contract.
