Description

The Grand Junction VA Medical Center in Grand Junction Colorado intends to release Solicitation VA259-16-R-0460 for the rehab of Water Tower Phase 2. The Grand Junction Veterans Health Care System requires Construction services from a firm to provide all labor materials to upgrade the elevated water tower, in accordance with statement of work and all applicable specifications and drawings. Project will be performed in accordance with all the contract terms, conditions, provisions and requirements. The full solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS www.fbo.gov on or shortly after August 11, 2015. The purpose of this requirement is to provide repair of the water tower, to include repair of the mechanical level indicator, add audible alarms on the electronic level/temperature indicator, install heating in the tower dry tube riser which contains the supply and return lines and repair and insulate the supply and discharge lines from the tank. This full solicitation will be 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building construction, size standard $36,500,000.00. This requirement is for the Grand Junction VA Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. Costs are firm fixed priced and scheduling has enough notification time to allow for the contractor to provide the service. All offerors must be registered in SAMS data base, see https://www.sam.gov and complete online Reps and Certs at http://www.sam.gov. Additionally, successful offeror must be a registered SDVOSB in VetBiz at http://www.vetbiz.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at this website only.
