Description

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Chief Business Office (CBO), Veterans Point of Service Program VetLink Kiosks Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Contract - Additional Work for O&M and Deployment of Kiosks Contract GS-35F-0363L Task Order VA118-15-F-0047 The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to search for qualified vendors capable of meeting the requirements to deploy and provide O&M for approximately 930 VetLink kiosks throughout the VA. The current contract utilized for kiosk O&M is Contract GS-35F-0363L Task Order VA118-15-F-0047 with Vecna Technologies. See attached proposed revisions to the Performance Work Statement. The Government believes that only Vecna Technologies is qualified to perform this work; however, this RFI is being issued to confirm this assumption. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal or quote. It is requested that all companies interested in participating in this effort please note their interest and provide information on their respective capabilities to perform the effort described in the attached draft PWS. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations, or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. The information provided may be used by the VA in developing its acquisition strategy and PWS. This market research is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Instructions for Submitting RFI Questions and Response If interested, please submit a Capabilities Statement indicating how you can meet the requirements, limited to up to 15 pages, single spaced, 12 point font for your company, your teammates and/or subcontractors. Additionally, please indicate on your cover page the socioeconomic category of you, your teammates and/or subcontractors. Please indicate if you, your teammates, and/or subcontractors are schedule holders and the name of that schedule and contract. Responses are requested no later than 12:00 PM EST August 18, 2016 via email to Keiahna.Brewer@va.gov and Robert.Kately@va.gov.
