Description
Synopsis: The Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC) is using this Sources Sought synopsis as means of conducting Market Research pursuant to FAR Part 10. There is no solicitation at this time. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this sources sought notice. Any responses received will not be used as a proposal. This is not a request for quotes and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The intended award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Classification Code is 511210 Software Publisher Requirement: MARSOC has a requirement to procure Evoke Assessment Reports. Evoke assessments are the reports that are generated from the Evoke Quantitative Electroencephalogram (qEEG) system. Each initial assessment report is proprietary to Evoke Neuroscience, so is ordered when a new patient is initiated into the qEEG feedback, assessment and training system. The Evoke Report is required to determine training activities for the client. The training activities are designed to modify the functioning of alpha, beta, delta, and theta brainwaves based on test results and desired psychological function. Some of the psychological and cognitive activities that are trained using Evoke qEEG include anxiety, attention, memory, and reaction time. The eVox assessment clearly indicates the specific Brodman's area(s) of the brain and their current electrical functioning. Assessment results then enable the practitioner to pinpoint qEEG training to the specific Brodman's area(s) where the lack of activity or excess of activity exists. The data on brain function, memory, and stress activation is then used to guide the peak performance or clinical remediation training on the Evoke Loretta qEEG system that is owned by MARSOC. Receiving the Evoke Assessment Report from Evoke Neuorscience is critical to being able to make appropriate practitioner decisions for improving or remediating MARSOC Marines. Currently, this capability is only available from Evoke because of proprietary software for interpreting the data produced by the Evoke Neuroscience qEEG system computers. Applying the information from the Evoke assessment reports in treatment increases Operator capability and readiness, thereby improving MARSOC capability and readiness. Please submit any suggestions, questions, comments, and/or information, including literature/brochures describing your firm's ability/interest to provide these services.
