Description
The Department of Veterans SAO West NCO 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, 4100 E. Mississippi Avenue Suite 900, Glendale, CO 80246 intends to enter into sole source Purchase Order authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source purchase to Becton, Dickinson and Company, 1 Becton Drive, Franklin Lakes, NJ, 07417-1880, a large business. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339112 and the Business Size Standard is 1000 employees. The contractor shall provide the Eastern Colorado Health Care System with Becton Dickinson laser products compatible with, and in replacement of, current Becton Dickinson laser products. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 5:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, Monday, August 15th, 2016. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
