- Description
- The Contractor will be required to cut down and remove hazardous trees, limb-up trees and shrubs, hand remove pine sapling trees, and perform herbicidal treatment of approximately 90 acres of land containing invasive plant species with approved herbicides at Joint Base Langley, Fort Eustis, Virginia. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, subcontracts and all other things necessary to perform the work. It is anticipated that a Fixed-Price contract will be awarded. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The small business size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates whose average annual gross revenue does not exceed $7.5 million for the past three years under NAICS 115310. The solicitation package will be available for download on or about August 11, 2016. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website: https://www.fbo.gov. All bidders must be registered in FBO before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to this solicitation.
