THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. (b) Although "proposal," "offeror," contractor, and "offeror" may be used in this sources sought notice, any response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) Any information received from a contractor in response to this Sources Sought may be used in creating a solicitation. Any information received which is marked with a statement, such as "proprietary" or "confidential," intended to restrict distribution will not be distributed outside of the Government, except as required by law. (d) This Sources Sought is issued for the purpose of collecting information about the requirements listed in Price-Cost Schedule. Section 3: Statement of Work Statement of Work Micromedex Online Database Subscription The vendor will provide yearly licensing for the VISN 21 Micromedex Online Database Subscription for the period of 10/1/2016-9/30/2017. The current online database is accessible from any workstation within VISN 21 and has the following features. "An on-line evidence-based database for drugs and drug therapy retrievable from any station within VISN 21. "Database must be strictly evidence-based and not author opinion. "Database must be updated in a timely manner based on newly published evidence. "Database must include non-FDA approved indications, including evidence ratings for the non-FDA approved indications. "Database must be fully referenced with citations easily identifiable/retrievable. "Database must include intravenous compatibility information from a universally accepted, reputable resource (i.e., Handbook on Injectable Drugs by Lawrence A. Trissel). "Database must include a drug interaction search function not merely based on manufacturer (i.e., package insert) data, but newly identified drug interactions from the literature. "Database must include a drug identification function with an ability to search drugs by description not just imprint information. "Database must include a variety of laboratory (i.e., CrCl, drug blood levels) and dosing calculators (i.e., dopamine, heparin, etc).
