- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is HQ0034-16-RFAC60071_01 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333911 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2016-08-24 14:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Fairfield, PA 17320 The WHS - Acquisition Directorate requires the following items, Brand Name Only (Exact Match), to the following: LI 001: A Deming Vertical Turbine Pump Model 4700-L6, Serial Number T14861, Brand Name. Salient characteristics include: Must be able to meet the motor thresholds of 25 HP & 3600 RPM. Pump must include a 416 SS shaft. Shall have a 7-stage 5H bowl assembly with a NPT suction case, 3? long 3? DIA suction pump with a galvanized cone strainer, and air release assembly. Shall include a fabricated steel head to match bolt holes shown within the associated drawing (NOTE: the tail pipe must be 3?). Includes a SD66-12? cast iron discharge head, 1? packing box, 100? of 4? threaded column x 1?. The OAL 1300 5/8 must be shipped in pieces for field assembly. Vertical pump shall be an exact replacement as the currently degraded unit to match the existing well head, mounting pier, leveling plate, and discharged head mounting bolt pattern (see attached Drawing C132863). However, the mechanical right angle drive has been eliminated from the replacement pump to prevent future pump issues. Distributors must obtain the exact pump specification from the Deming manufacturer using the serial number (e.g. T14861) from the existing non-operational pump. Delivery, installation, on-site training, manuals, and a two (2) year warranty must be provided., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted by using the 'Submit a Question' feature at www.fedbid.com. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, WHS - Acquisition Directorate intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. WHS - Acquisition Directorate is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
