- This announcement constitutes Solicitation Number FA4803-16-R-0005, which will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). Anticipated award to be a Firmed Fixed Price Contract. Proposal contract is for a basic period of one (1) year and four (4) one-year option periods with an anticipated start date of 1 January 2017. This acquisition will be solicited as 100% 8(a) Set­ Aside. This will be a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561110 with a size standard of $7.5M. This requirement will be solicited under FAR Part 12 and Part 15 utilizing commercial acquisition procedures. The Solicitation is anticipated to be posted within the next 45 days. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package. DO NOT REQUEST VIA MAIL OR FAX. REQUIREMENT: The contractor shall provide all management, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, labor, and all other items and services necessary to operate, provide non-personal services to operate an Awards and Decoration Processing unit (UDPU). This function shall be the single manager of Air Force contingency and deployed decorations for the US Central Command (USCENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR). The mission of the UDPU is to provide quality personnel support, through the administration of a contingency decorations program, to commanders, Air Force members (military/civilian), their family members, and retirees. This section serves as the focal point for individual decoration and unit award actions for any named contingency operations, present and future, as well as past operations for which the section has had responsibility in the USCENTCOM AOR (e.g., ENDURING FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, INHERENT RESOLVE, FREEDOM SENTINE and JTF-Horn of Africa).
