Description

Performance Work Statement The Government intends to award a sole source contract for Upgrade of Compression Tester Machine. This purchase request is for the upgrade of the Chant Compression Tester, Model 9142, located at Logistics Support Activity, Packaging, Storage, and Containerization Center, Packaging Applications Test Facility at Tobyhanna Army Depot, PA. The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) under the authority cited - The Statutory Authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; any offers will be considered; however, it is the Government's intent to award a sole-source purchase to Chant Engineering Co. Inc. Any parties that feel they can meet this requirement should contact Cassandra Patton via email at cassandra.d.patton2.civ@mail.mil No later than August 15, 2016 at 4:00 PM (CST).
