- DRAFT RFP Sections B (partial), J, and L&M. This is a DRAFT Solicitation/RFP posting and is NOT a FINAL request for proposal. The version of the DRAFT RFP is partial and contains Section B CLINs for Lot 0, Section J, and Sections L&M. Updates will be forthcoming. The US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Program Manager for Field Operations (PM Field Ops) intends to request proposals from small businesses in regards to providing Life-Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) for the ongoing Artillery & Chemical Training (ACT) program. The contractor will provide labor, materials, consumables, tools and test equipment, supply support, maintenance and repair activities, installation/de-installation, engineering modification and development, production, operation, transportation and relocation necessary to maintain previously fielded artillery and chemical Training Aids, Devices, Simulations and Simulators (TADSS) and Material Support Packages (MSPs) in a fully operational condition throughout CONUS and OCONUS. The Period of Performance for this effort includes up to 4 months phase-in included within the base 12 month period, followed by four 12 month option periods. The contract type is Firm Fixed Price with Cost provisions, set-aside entirely for small business firms. The NAICS code is 541330, with a size standard of $38.5M. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. THOSE FIRMS THAT DO NOT PROVIDE INFORMATION WILL NOT AUTOMATICALLY BE EXCLUDED FROM COMPETING ONCE THE OFFICIAL RFP IS RELEASED. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS DRAFT SOLICITATION.
