Description

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. The Alexandria VA Health Care System, in Pineville, LA requires 2 each Locum Tenens Board Certified/Eligible Internal Medicine or General Surgery Physicians for Hospitalist services weeknights, weekends and holidays. This will be to fill temporary vacant positions. If the position is filled by hiring an Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), one or both positions could be terminated at the Convenience of the Government. The NAICS Code assigned to this procurement will be 561320 - Temporary Help Services with a size standard $27.5M The solicitation will be Set Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and Veteran Owned Small Business. The solicitation number will be VA256-16-Q-1237. Offerors will be evaluated on Management, Experience and Staffing; Quality; Past Performance; Veterans Affairs Preference; and Price. Procurements will be made in accordance with FAR parts 13. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 4 month base period (beginning on or about 26 September 2016) with one (1), 2 month option perod. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about August 17, 2016 via FedBizOpps: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Questions regarding this solicitation will be taken until August 16, 2016 at 1:00PM EST. Questions must be in writing and be sent via email to: Martin Priest, Contracting Officer at martin.priest@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Quotes must be submitted in writing to the issuing office in accordance with the preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation.
