REPLACE BRANDY CREEK SURFACE WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM WITH WELLS, WHISKEYTOWN NATIONAL RECREATION AREA, SHASTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. This Amendment corrects the project title in FedConnect to read "Replace BC SWTP with Wells, NPS-WHIS" and provides Site Visit information as follows: An organized site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 24, 2016 beginning at 1:00 p.m. and ending at approximately 3 p.m. PDT. Bring water and wear proper sturdy footwear for potentially rough terrain. Contractor should register for the site visit a minimum of 3 business days in advance by contacting David Larabee, Chief of Facility Management, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, at (530) 242-3430. Participants will meet at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, Brandy Creek Lot A. Driving Directions: From I-5 heading north merge toward Portland on CA-44 via EXIT 678 toward Eureka. Turn right onto CA-299 W/CA-273 N/Pine ST. CA-299 W is just past East St on the corner. Take the 1st left onto Eureka Way/CA-299 W/CA-273N. Continue to follow Eureka Way/CA-299 (9.3 mi) Turn Left onto Kennedy Memorial Drive approximately 5.0 miles to Brandy Creek Beach.
