Description

Proprietary Sole Source - Preventive Maintenance & Repair Services - FS2 Intralase Laser. Special Notice under Solicitation: W81K02-16-T-0174 for follow-on Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services. Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific, Health Contracting Cell, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Lacey WA intends to issue a sole source award to AMO Sales and Service, Inc in the amount of: $135,000.00 to purchase a Base Year, with two (2) one-year Options on their Intralase FS2 Laser located at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma WA. This service is proprietary by manufacturer letter stating: AMO Sales and Service, Inc is the only vendor authorized to perform Preventive Maintenance and Repairs on the Intralase FS2 Laser which is OEM equipment part of Abbott Laboratories and AMO Sales and Service Inc. This notice is NOT a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies, services or equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent Walter Bischoff, email: Walter.j.Bischoff.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
