- Performance Work Statement This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirements will be fulfilled using Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and the Simplified Acquisition procedures, Part 13 of the FAR. The Government expects to make one award from this synopsis/solicitation. The Contractor shall provide space for a conference in Huntsville, Alabama from April 18th, 2017 until April 20th, 2017 for up to 374 attendees from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. central daylight time (CDT) each day. Conference space needed shall include a registration area, general session room, and three smaller break-out rooms. All areas shall be secured from public access. Light catering shall be provided and audio visual technical support shall be provided as needed. See attached Performance Work Statement for detailed description. The provision at 52.212.1, Instructions to Offeror-Commercial (Oct 2015), applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212.2, Evaluation -Commercial Items, will be used to evaluate offerors for awarding the contract. Factors: (1) Ability to Meet Requirements and (2) Price. The offeror should quote one total price. The Government intends to award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the most responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation will be the most advantageous, representing the best value to the Government. The basis of award will be conducted on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jul 2016), with its quote. Offerors shall provide Taxpayer Identification Number, as well as, Data Universal Numbering System number with its quote.
