Description

Sources Sought Synopsis. One (1) spectroscopic ellipsometer that meets the following requirements: 1) Capable of measuring thickness, refractive index and extinction coefficient of thin films 2) Capable of performing measurements in a wavelength range of at least 200nm to 1680nm with a minimum of 400 wavelengths within this range. 3) Capable of automated sample alignment for samples that are not flat (i.e., tilted samples). 4) Includes a computer control system for the ellipsometer with software that is capable of collecting and processing the data. The computer must include a CD/DVD ROM drive. 5) A set of focusing optics that is capable of reaching beam diameters of 300μm or smaller. 6) A table that has integrated mount for the electronics, computer and monitor. 7) A liquid cell that is capable of horizontal measurements in liquid with a liquid capacity of at least 5 mL. 8) A sample stage that is capable of heating the sample to at least 450°C and cooling to -50°C or lower. 9) Capability to perform mapping using the ellipsometer over a minimum area of 100 mm x 100 mm.
