SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS Services, Automatic Doors Inspection and Preventive Maintenance National Contracting Office (NCO) 8, Bay Pines is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts and labor necessary to inspect and provide preventive maintenance for the automatic doors at C.W. Bill Young VAMC and Lee County Healthcare Center in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation in accordance with ANSI/BHMA A156.10-1985 American National Standard for Power Operated Pedestrian Doors and ANSI A156.19-1984 American National Standard for Power Assist and Low Energy Power Operated Doors as well as the "Draft" Performance Work Statement (PWS) and schedule (Attachment A). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 238290 - Other Building Equipment Contractors. The size standard is $15M. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the ability to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, web site address, telephone number, CAGE code, DUNS number, and business size and type according to this NAICS code; 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 12:00 PM on 19 August 2016.
