- The USDA-NRCS will issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB)for the construction/enhancement of seven wetland restoration and management easements enrolled in the USDA's Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP) in Wilkin, Mower, and Freeborn Counties, Minnesota. IFB Release: 15 Aug 2016 Place(s) of Performance: The single award program for seven properties is located in wetland restoration and management work on lands enrolled in the USDA's Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP) in Wilkin, Mower, and Freeborn Counties, Minnesota. Type of Work: The USDA-NRCS is conducting tree and brush control, gravel pit reclamation, and prairie establishment actions in Wilkin, Mower, and Freeborn Counties, Minnesota. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following items: Wilkin County Easements (6): The activity required for this area site will include clearing and grubbing, earthwork grading, tree and brush removal/grinding, chemical treatment of re-sprouts, prescribed burning, pre-seeding site preparation, seeding species in specified areas, and providing post-seeding maintenance (mowing). Site preparation may include chemical and/or mechanical treatment. Mower/Freeborn Counties: Removal of surface placed concrete culverts, demolition and removal of concrete silo and support pad, reseed of disturbed areas. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business under NAICS code 237990. The small business size standard is $36.5M Magnitude: in accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 Solicitation Number AG-3C78-S-16-0047, will be available through FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring FedBizOps for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. Information regarding date and time of an organized site visit will be contained in the solicitation. The solicitation issued on August 15TH, 2016. Submittal deadline: 15 Sept 2016/0800EST.
