Special Notice Request for Information Only The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO20 is looking for certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and/or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources of the following: Item #Description___________________________________________________ BASEADJ005: HI-Mobile Cart, 22' Top, Light Duty, Adjustable Height Latitude 14: Latitude 14 5000 i5 - 8 GB Ram - 128 GB SSD - Smartcard Reader - Docking Station - No Optical Drive - Windows 7 64 bit - Intel Wireless QTY- 11 The procurement must meet the following Salient Characteristics: o 30-40' adjustable height o 16-30 lb lift capacity o 22' W x 17' D worksurface o Includes 2.5' diameter adjustable-height column with holes in 1' increments for accessory installation o Work surface has a weight capacity of 50 lbs o Overall weight capacity of 150 lbs. o Work Surface Handle o Universal accessory mount o Heavy cast metal base o 4 casters (4' size, 2 locking) o Wheel base dimensions, 16.98'W x 16.04'D o Overall dimensions: 22' W x 30-40' H x 22.25' D o Color: Cool Grey o 3 Yr Standard Limited Warranty (3 yr electrical/3 yr mechanical) The mobile cart itself must have an adjustable height in order to provide each individual user with an ergonomic working height. The cart will also need an accessory mount to be used as an anchor point to secure the laptop with a cable lock. The laptop on the cart must have a 14 inch screen with an internal smart card reader. The laptop must be configured with at least 8 GB of Ram and at least a 128 GB SSD (Solid State Hard Drive). The laptop must also include a docking station. Laptop support must allow the VA to keep the hard drive in case of hard drive failure. This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements and is a certified (SDVOSB/VOSB) vendor may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Only authorized representatives of the manufacturer will be considered. Equipment must be new, no used or refurbished equipment accepted. Responses are due by 08/19/2016 4:00 pm EST. In accordance with FAR and VAAR Part 8, this notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88, 15 Jun 2016.
