- This notice is for information only. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) on behalf of the Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General (DoDOIG) intends to synopsize and award a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Laptop Computer Lifecycle Replacement. This will be a 100% Small Businsess Set-Aside. This acquisition will be a supply purchase for laptop computers. The place of delivery will be 4800 Mark Center Drive, Alexandria, VA 22350. This will be solicited as Full and Open competition using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5 procedures. This is not a solicitation notice therefore vendors should not submit formal proposals or questions until the Request for Quotations (RFQ) solicitation is posted to this website. The projected date for the solicitation is around late August 2016, with an anticipated delivery date of 30 days after receipt of order. Please note that SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207, and prospective Offeror's are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals. Description: The requirement is for 650 HP ProBook 650 G2 Notebooks that are either Brand Name or Equal. The laptops must meet or exceed the DoD's Windows 10 Secure Host Baseline (SHB) requirement: - Intel Core "i7"-6820 Quad Processor with Intel HD Graphics X86-64bit or equivalent - 16GB Memory DDR3 or higher solid state drive - 14" or larger HD+ Anti-Glare WLED-backlit display - Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit - Internal Optical Drive with CD/DVD+/-RW - Data Protection Access Security - Manufacturer supplied power cord with adapter - Wireless 802.11n 2x2 Wi-Fi Half Mini Card or equivalent - 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet, Three (3) USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports with a minimum of one must be USB 3.0. Docking Connector and HDMI port - Weight of the laptop will not exceed 6 lbs. - 3-cell Lithium Ion battery or higher - Integrated video webcam - Standard warranty, 4 Years - VGA and Network Port integrated on the laptop - Manufacture supported docking station with a minimum of three (3) USB ports 2.0 or 3.0 with a minimum of one (1) must be USB 3.0. Dual DVI and HDMI ports. - Item Unique Identification Label - description below - laptop architecture technology is less than 1 year old Additionally, the Contractor shall provide Item Unique Identification Label (IUID) in accordance with DFARS 252.211‐7003, the Contractor shall provide Item Unique Identification (IUID) labels as per Department of Defense Directive 8320.04 dated June 2008. http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/pdi/uid/index.html. Additionally, the laptops tasks shall provide a standard warranty: The Contractor shall provide a single (United States and Worldwide) toll-free number available 24x7x365 for warranty repair service calls from DoD IG Information Technology (IT) support personnel. The Contractor shall additionally maintain a web based portal for warranty status reports. The Contractor shall provide first-call resolution or replace equipment within five business days. Warranty repair shall include all parts, labor, materials and shipping necessary to complete the repair. Please Note: This notice is not a request for quote.
