- Specs RFI for RFI 7657 Oscillating Group The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist the United States Air Force (USAF) in determining if a future contract effort can be competitively awarded and/or awarded on a total or partial Small Business Set-Aside basis. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System ( NAICS) code assigned to this effort is 334515 (Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals) with the Small Business Size Standard of 750 number of employees. If the Government decides to award a contract for this or related effort, a solicitation will be published and posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website. The Government will use this information solely to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small business concerns. The Government is currently under configuration control and management of the AN/ALQ-131. This request for information is in regards to the AN/ALQ-131 Band 5 Oscillating Assembly. The Government does not own a complete data package, only the basic requirements for dimensions, specifications, and test requirements. Parties expressing interest in the repair of these assets will either need access to the pertinent technical data owned by prior manufacturers of these components or have a plan of action to overcome the lack of this data. Assets will need to be returned to serviceable condition that meets or exceeds the manufacturer specifications. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. Interested sources must have performed repair and maintenance of the AN/ALQ-131 variant systems in the past. Interested sources must maintain facilities and cleared personnel for producing, handling, storing, and maintaining information and operating systems with security classifications up to and including Secret.
