Description

The following addition Vendors' questions and answers are provided. 1. Question: Will the VA assign a representative who will have the authority to address installation issues which may arise during the installation portion of the project. Answer: Yes. 2. Question: In reference to the system commissioning checklist (part 5) of solicitation, the document has to be signed by a commissioner. Who assigns this person and what is their role in the overall project. Answer: The contractor that is awarded the contract assigns its own commissioner---this is an internal quality assurance procedure for the contractor. 3. Question: Can contractors progress bill, such as when they deliver all of the materials to the job site? Answer: No, the items will need to be installed and accepted by the government before invoicing. 4. Question: Will the contractors have an area to secure their material that can be locked? Answer: Yes. 5. Question: Are offerors required to submit their itemized equipment list on the Excel form provided by the government in the solicitation or can they submit a different Excel/PDF that will have a line item equipment list and pricing? Answer: The excel sheet was provided to assist vendors with the pricing. With that said, offerors can submit their own itemized list.
