Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial goods and is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.) This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F16PS01225 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) #2005-89, effective 15 Aug 2016, 2016. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 336212 "Trailer Manufacturing" and the business size standard is 1000 employees. Quotes or questions shall be submitted via e-mail to Randall Miller at randall_miller@fws.gov and shall include the solicitation number F15PS012225 in the subject line. This solicitation closes 1700 Eastern daylight time 8/26/2016 The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a requirement for: a 8' Aluminum Gooseneck flatbed trailer, with 5th Wheel Kingpin Salient characteristics include: 16,500 pound Gross Trailer Weight Rating (GTWR) Deck Width = 8' throughout entire length of trailer (flatbed deck must be over top of wheels) Flatbed Length = 15' + 5' dove tail 5' dove tail with lift up middle and flip over ramps to make a 5' even flat deck Gooseneck size: 92" minimum distance from Kingpin to front of trailer 1/2" thick mainframe construction includes 10" channel main frame and 5 x 3 1/2" extruded aluminum bed rail with 3" cross members on 24" centers 2" extruded flooring, tongue & groove edges, extrusion has integral 2" I-beam every 4" Non-skid design to flooring Steel reinforced gooseneck or hitch framing and axle sub-frame (2) - 8,000 lb. torsion axles with electric brakes (4) - ST235/80R16 LRG radial 14-ply tires on aluminum wheels standard includes matching spare ALL DOT approved LED sealed-beam lighting includes all marker, clearance, and stop/turn/tail lights Adjustable stem gooseneck coupler, with Kingpin, safety chains, breakaway switch with battery Heavy rub rail and 2x4 pockets spaced at 24" along both sides of trailer full length Matching spare tire mounted to goose neck Dual ( 2-Speed) Landing gear (ie: one landing gear on each of the front corner of the trailer) Total Weight of trailer Must Not be more than 3800 pounds Delivery location is FWS Kenai National Wildlife Refuge 1 Ski Hill Road Soldotna, AK 99669 Please submit your quote on the attached SF-1449 or company letterhead with all pertinent point of contact information including DUNS No., and business size/type.
