Description

No Authorized Vendors Memo from APEX Instruments, Inc. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground - Installation Contracting Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen, Maryland, 21005 intends to award a sole source contract to procure the following: Isokinetic Source Sampling Console (XC-522-O) - Quantity 2 Lubricated Rotary Vane Pump (XE-0523) - Quantity 2 Split Umbilical Cable (US-30-10) - Quantity 2 The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source contract to APEX Instruments, Inc., 204 Technology Park Ln, Fuquay Virina, NC 27526-9310. APEX Instruments, Inc. has no authorized vendors, due to proprietary rights. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334513 and the Business Size Standard is 750 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Thursday, August 25, 2016. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
