Description

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, is soliciting and intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Contract for in support of the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. NAICS Code 621511, size standard $32.5 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with the University of Michigan, 1500 E. Medical Center Drive, Ann Arbor, MI for this procurement due to geographical location, there is no other research fMRI laboratory within a range that will not deter research participants or drive up research costs due to transportation so as to limit the ability to conduct the study. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 09:30 AM EST on 08/24/2016.
