Description

REQUEST FOR QUOTE THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THE SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-89. Offerors must submit all questions concerning this solicitation in writing, via email to the Contract Specialist, Michael Parsons Pena at Michael.Parsons@fda.hhs.gov. Questions should be received no later than 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time on 23 August, 2016. All responses to questions will be made in writing, without identification of the questioner, and will be included in an amendment to the solicitation. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210 - Software Publishers with a small business size standard of $38.5M. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. Brand Name or Equal. Statement of Work Scope The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has a requirement for the renewal of licenses for GastroPLUS, DDDPlus, MedChem Designer and Digit, brand name or equal to.
