- Description
- Request for Information The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District, is conducting market research to seek information from potential contractors on an upcoming dredging contract on the Monongahela River, PA. This is a Request for Information (RFI) and is for informational purposes only. This is not a solicitation announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation is currently available. This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. The Government will not pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information. Do not submit cost proposals or cost information. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not affect any firm's ability to submit a proposal if and when a solicitation is issued. The information gathered will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Replies to responses, comments, or suggestions will not be provided. The Government will hold a site visit at the Victory Hollow offloading and upland fill placement areas on September 1, 2016 at 10:00 am. Please contact Carole Householder by email at carole.householder@usace.army.milto attend this site visit, providing the names of those who will be in attendance and the name of your company. Notice is provided that the site visit exchange/discussions may be video or audio recorded and published through FBO. A Scope of the Proposed Acquisition, Proposed Contract Details, and Information Requested by the USACE is included in the Attachment posted with this Special Notice entitled "Request for Information - Monongahela River Pool 3 Dredging." Please submit responses as soon as possible, but no later than 11:00 am on September 19, 2016. Responses shall be emailed to lrp.contracting@usace.army.mil or faxed to 412-395-7110. Please include the title "RFI-Mon Pool 3 Dredging" as the subject.
