Description

AG-3C78-S-16-0055 COMPLETE PACKAGE The USDA-NRCS issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) no later than 5 July 2016 for the construction/enhancement of three (3) properties under the Wetland Restoration Program (WRP). ISSUANCE: This IFB replaces AG-3C78-S-16-0035. Previous small business set aside has been removed. Location: The single award program for three properties is located in Twin Valley, MN. See Statement of Work for exact location (Lake Ida Township T143N R45E). Type of Work: The USDA-NRCS is conducting tree and brush control, gravel pit reclamation, and prairie establishment actions in Lake Ida Township in Norman County, Minnesota. The activity required for this area site will include clearing and grubbing, earthwork grading, tree and brush removal/grinding, chemical treatment of re-sprouts, prescribed burning, pre-seeding site preparation, seeding species in specified areas, and providing post-seeding maintenance (mowing). Site preparation may include chemical and/or mechanical treatment. Installation of materials a. late summer/fall 2016 (upon notice to proceed by Contracting Officer) perform gravel pit reclamation work, and clearing grubbing including tree and brush removal in the areas shown on the plans and specifications. b. fall 2016, complete site prep operations and sow seed to the areas shown on the plans and specifications. c. fall/winter 2016/2017, complete tree grinding/removal as shown on the plans and specifications d. mid to late summer 2017, complete foliar spray as shown on the plans and specifications. e. fall 2017 implement prescribed burn as shown on the plans and specifications. f. fall 2017 complete site prep operations and sow seed to the areas as shown on the plans and specifications. g. In summer of 2018 implement establishment mowing as shown on the plans and specifications. G. Maintenance 1. 2017 and 2018 perform establishment mowing as indicated in plans and specifications. Set Aside: This project is unrestricted Magnitude: in accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000 Site Visit: A site visit has been schedule for 30 Aug 2016 / 1000hrs CST.
