Description
The Fort Valley Experimental Forest Water System Improvements Phase II project includes, but is not limited to, construction of approximately 650 LF of directionally-bored 2" HDPE waterline, 3 water manholes, connection appurtenances, associated pavement patching, and temporary traffic control. The new water line will primarily follow the US Hwy 180 ROW, and will require one under-highway crossing, connecting into an existing water system on both ends. The allotted time for this contract is fourteen (14) days from the notice to proceed. Pre-proposal site visits will be scheduled upon request by contacting Anthony Salas by email at asalas@fs.fed.us. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 - $100,000. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for HUBZone concerns. The anticipated date for issuance of the solicitation is on or around August 26, 2016. The due date will be identified on the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted, in writing, to Anthony Salas at asalas@fs.fed.us no later than September 9, 2016.
