Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, and supplemental information included in this notice. Blount Island Command will be awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13 as Solicitation Number M67004-16-Q-1069. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-85. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARS) can be accessed on the internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. This requirement is Full and Open. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is code 562219, Size Standard 38.5 mil. Only electronic email responses to this announcement will be accepted. In the event that we do not receive notification arising from this combined synopsis/solicitation of at least two (2) capable Small Business firms that are interested in this procurement, we will proceed with issuing this as an unrestricted procurement. Solicitation Number M67004-16-Q-1069 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is attached for the purchase of Foreign Soil Removal services. Please see the attached Request for Quotation M67004-16-Q-1069 contained herein. Date and time for receipt of offers is by noon (local time) on August 25, 2016.
