Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA250-16-Q-0577 and is issued as Sources Sought. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. The requirement is for a Radiofrequency Generator Ablation Unit (additional requirement information attached). Delivery location is Chillicothe VAMC, Chillicothe, OH, and shall be FOB destination. Delivery and installation required within 30 days of contract award. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a formal, written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-72. This is sources sought seeking information from a SDVOSB or VOSB: Salient Characteristics Radiofrequency Ablation Generator Unit 1. System must be designed to deliver RF energy 2. System should be equipped with an individual and multiple start option to deliver RF energy 3. System should be able to perform monopolar and bipolar procedures at the same time 4. System should be able to perform bipolar procedures at the same time 5. System should be able to perform thermal and pulsed procedures 6. System should be equipped with pre-programmed time and temperature profiles 7. Systems should allow for time and temperature adjustments during procedures 8.
