- The Virginia Contracting Activity intends to solicit and negotiate a (2) two month extension on contract number HHM402-10-D-0014-0001, Enterprise Service Desk (ESD), based on the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This task order is a current award under the Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (SITE) Contract. All SITE awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). This short-term bridge contract extension to the existing task order will allow transition time with the follow-on task order awardee under the Enhanced Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (E-SITE) contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Description of Supplies or Services: The requirement is to extend the existing Enterprise Service Desk task order (from 17 October 2016 to 16 December 2016) will allow the Chief lnformation Office (CIO) to continue to provide Enterprise level mission and business applications and data management services to DIA users in the most efficient and reliable manner possible. The ESD Task Order provides a standardized and effective approach for ESD activities. The Service Desk provides a single point of contact for user service requests. Services required to be performed are listed as follows: 1. Customer Service and Support 2. Service Request Administration 3. Service Calls and Escalation 4. eRequestor Support 5. Service Request Support 6. Self-Help Knowledge Base Support 7. Service Request Entry Requirements 8. Systems Account and Access Management Services 9. Communication with Users Requirements 10. Notifications and Reporting Place of contract Performance is various CONUS and OCONUS locations. All work is at TS/SCI Level.
