- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. Solicitation N62742-16-T-6831 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336112 “ Light Truck and Utility Vehicle Manufacturing. This RFQ is issued as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR part 13) and is issued as an UNRESTRICTED procurement for a firm fixed price contract for one (1) CLIN for 1 EA of Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), Right hand drive (RHD), (Toyota Prado, Toyota Land Cruiser, Mitsubishi Montero, or equal) to deliver to JUSMAGTHAI, Sathorn-Tai, Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand. The required items and descriptions are as follows:- CLIN 0001:Sports Utility Vehicle, Qty = 1 - Sports Utilitiy Vehicle, Commercial, Right hand drive (RHD) 1 unit - Make / Model: Toyota Prado, Toyota Land Cruiser, Mitsubishi Montero; or equal. - Engine: Gasoline/Diesel, mid or full size - Model year: 2016 or newer - Transmission Type: automatic - Drive: 4x4 - Suspension: Heavy duty - Spare tire: Full size spare tire, 4 wheels, all terrain - Seating: Minimum 5 Passengers - Upholstery: Cloth or leather on seats. - Seatbelts: One for each seat, waist and shoulder - Air Conditioning: Air conditioning front and rear - Steering: Power steering - Doors: Five - Airbags: Minimum Two - driver and front passenger - Floor Mats: Removable OEM carpet or vinyl floor mats, front and rear - Color: Silver - Audio: AM/FM stereo with CD player - Security: factory installed security alarm system - Manuals, in English: Commercial Operator ™s manual one for each vehicle Required Options to be installed before delivery: - Tinted side and rear windows Offerors are to provide in their proposal for import vehicles - Make, model, model year, country of manufacturer / assembly, year of manufacture, chassis/ vin/serial no., color, engine no., installed options, dimensions and curb weight. - Price shall include all costs including any and all manufacture, assembly and delivery costs. The contractor will be allowed to file for exemption of Export Duties through the Thailand Government The price shall exclude all Import Taxes and Fees, Sales Tax and Excise Duties. Delivery location - Government shall inspect and accept vehicles at destination. - Within sixty (60) days of contract award, provide complete vehicle description including VIN, engine number, invoice; certificate of origin; year of manufacture; model year; brochure of vehicle with specifications. - Deliver the vehicle to the above delivery address within 120 days of contract award. Delivery address: JUSMAGTHAI Sathorn Tai, Sathorn, Bangkok, Thailand FOR: NAVFAC PACIFIC SITE THAILAND (NAVFAC) Warranty - Provide Standard commercial warranty not less than 3 years upon the date of acceptance. - Provide name of dealer in Bangkok, Thailand which shall provide warranty services and periodic maintenance. Paper copy of this solicitation is provided in attachment. The Government intends to award to the responsible offeror whose offer is the lowest Responsive and Responsible offer. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible offerors must be active in System for Award Management (SAM) in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 “ System for Award Management Registration (JUL 2013). All questions are due by 30 August, 2016 at 15:30, Thailand Time. The quotation closing date is 15 September, 2016, at 15:30, Thailand Time. Both questions and quotation can be submitted via email.
