- Combo with Attachments This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial services: CLIN 0001: Provide non-personal services necessary to clear, grub, and shred approximately 44 acres on Bronte Drop Zone (DZ) in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The 44 acres contains approximately 45-60 mesquite trees ranging in size from 3 ft to 15 ft in height. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation FA4661-16-Q-0071 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ FA4661-16-Q-0071. Quotes will be evaluated and award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation. Price will be the only evaluation factor. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89 effective 14 Jul 2016. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with an active System for Award Management (SAM) account at the closing time of the RFQ. This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification Standard 561730, Size Standard $7.5M applies to this procurement. The 7th Contracting Squadron at Dyess AFB TX intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the services described in the PWS. The Period of Performance for this requirement is 90 days ADC to complete all work associated with the contract. This requirement will be F.O.B. Destination. A site visit will be held on the following date/time: 24 August 2016/ 09:30 A.M. (CST) The meeting location will be at the Stripes convenience store located at 101 S State St, Bronte, TX 76933. After the timely arrival of all registered parties, a Government POC will lead the site visit group on to the actual Bronte DZ. Please note that the Bronte DZ is a government installation and all rules and regulations of Dyess AFB also apply. Only one site visit will be conducted and offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. All interested parties must send an email to both the Contract Administrator and Contracting Officer listed below stating the name and telephone number of all individuals to be in attendance. All questions pertaining to this requirement must be submitted and received no later than 10:00 a.m. (CST), 26 August 2016.
