- Notice Type: Special Notice Set Aside: NA Classification Code: _63____ NAICS Code _561621__ The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC-Fort Sill) intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole source contract for Securenet access control hardware and software maintenance and annual support for existing equipment. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 561621. The applicable size standard is $20,500,000.00. A determination not to compete this requirement was made pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(i), only one responsible source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13 and Commercial Procedures in FAR Part 12. Place of performance is Fort Sill, OK. Period of Performance is for base and 4 option years. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AND A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government and shall be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. If no affirmative written response is received by 25 August, 2016, then the Government will proceed negotiation with the software developer and distributor of the Proprietary existing software and equipment. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract is based on this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communication is not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract.
