- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Service Area Office Central Region (SAOC) anticipates issuing a solicitation on behalf of Veteran Integrated Service Network (VISN) 12, the VA Illiana Health Care System, for a contractor to provide 3.0 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Internal Medicine or Family temporary physicians in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13. A single award Firm Fixed Price contract is contemplated. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. The solicitation will be for the contractor to provide 3.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physician coverage for the Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS), 1900 E. Main Street, Danville, IL 61832, and other facilities in the geographical area. All physicians performing services for the Contractor under this contract shall be credentialed and privileged by the VAIHCS The period of performance of this requirement consists of a twelve (12) period. A comprehensive list of actual requirements will be included in the Performance Work Statement within the solicitation package document. This solicitation shall be issued as 100% Service-disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business Set-Aside The NAICS Code is 561320 - Temporary Help Services-Size Standard $27.5M. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on the Government Point of Entry on or about September 6, 2016. All inquiries should be submitted via e-mail to VHACOSAOCentralRegionContractStaff@va.gov. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at www.fbo.gov. The prospective offeror is responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties should use the www.FedBizOpps.gov [Add to Watch list] and [Add Me to Interested Vendors] features which provide a notification when the Request for Proposal (RFP) becomes available for download as well as all postings of information associated with this solicitation thereafter.
