Description

This purpose of this synopsis is to notify potential vendors of a requirement that the Louisville Kentucky, VA Medical Center has. A contractor is needed to provide approximately 105 furnished double occupancy hotel suites/kitchenettes per month. The rooms offered shall be within 15 miles of the Robley Rex VA Medical Center, 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206. This contract shall be for a base period of one year with the option to extend four additional optional year periods. The contractor shall provide approximately 105 fully furnished hotel or motel suites/kitchenettes per month. All rooms must be double occupancy and handicapped accessible. The Contractor will reserve a minimum of 26 rooms per week rooms as follows: six(6) rooms on Sunday, five(5) rooms on Monday, five (5) rooms Tuesday, five (5) rooms on Wednesday and five (5) rooms on Thursday (total 26 per week). Occupants may stay multiple days. At times more than 5 rooms each day may be required. Approximately 1,260 rooms will be needed annually. A request for proposal will publicized on www.FBO.gov on or about August 26th 2016.
