Description
Sources Sought ADJUSTABLE STANDING DESKS, SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, IL This is a request for information only. This is not a request for quote/proposal and there is no solicitation package available at this time. The United States Air Force, 375 Contracting Squadron, Scott Air Force Base, IL is seeking sources to provide adjustable standing desks. Scott Air Force Base is conducting market research to determine the availability of businesses capable of providing all equipment, supplies, transportation, and other items to Scott Air Force Base. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 337214 and the small business size standard is $1000 Employees. Description of Requirement The Contractor shall provide all equipment, supplies, transportation, materials, and other items necessary to provide the requirement for adjustable standing desks. The contractor shall provide the requirement according to the standards in this contract. Performance Requirements The specifications are listed below: -The unit must have a dual-handle design (one handle on each side) for operating the extension and retraction (up and down movement) of the unit for ease of use -The unit must have a spring loaded boost mechanism that allows one to raise and lower up to 35 lbs. easily -The unit must come fully assembled -The unit must have dual-monitor capacity -The unit must have a tiered keyboard/mouse deck -The unit must be available in black -The unit must have a heavy weight base that makes it sturdy and stable at any height with no installation required -The unit must have two supporting base legs each measuring 24" in length with 30" inches of space between the two supporting base legs when measuring from the outside edge to the outside edge of each of the supporting base legs -The unit must have an upper display surface level that has a 12 ¼" length when measured at the center of the platform and must have an inward curving crescent design cut into the platform that measures 20" from inside edge to inside edge of the inward curving crescent design -The unit must have a lower keyboard/mouse deck that has a 14 ¼" length when measured at the center of the platform and it must have an inward curving crescent design cut into the platform which creates a surface work area on each side of the lower keyboard/mouse deck that measures 9 1/2" inches in length by 8" in width on each side -When locked in the down position the unit and its platforms must measure 29 ¾" inches in length by 36" in width -When locked in the down position the unit and its platforms must measure 4 ½" in total height -When locked in the up position the unit and its platforms must measure 17 ½" in height from the supporting base legs to the upper display surface level -When locked in the up position the unit and its platforms must measure 14" in height from the supporting base legs to the keyboard/mouse deck level -When locked in the up and fully extended position the unit and its platforms must measure 41 ¾" from the rear of the supporting base legs to the leading edge of the keyboard/mouse deck -The footprint of the unit must be 36 X 30" (91.4 CM X 76.2 CM) -The unit must be capable of providing 11 different height settings The adjustable desks shall be delivered to Scott AFB, IL by the contractor. Contract Type 375 Contracting Squadron is anticipating a firm fixed price contract.
