- SCHD RFI Amend 22 August 2016 The purpose of this administrative amendment is to revise the RFI NAICS code for this requirement from 334519 to 334516. This version dated 22 August 2016 supersedes all previous versions. The purpose of this amendment is to provide revisions to the RFI which removes the requirement for a Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) from Section 4 - INSTRUCTIONS TO RESPONDENTS. This version dated 16 August 2016 supersedes all previous versions. The purpose of this amendment is to provide notification that the Government will not be requiring a Rough Order Magnitude (ROM). An updated RFI removing the ROM requirement will be forthcoming. The purpose of this amendment is to provide administrative revisions to the RFI. Revisions are highlighted. This version dated 10 August 2016 supercedes all previous versions. This is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) Joint Project Manager Nuclear Biological Chemical Contamination Avoidance (JPM NBC CA) is requesting information from industry on their ability to provide JPM NBC CA with an Experimental 15 (XM15) Surface Chemical Hazard Detector (SCHD), formerly known as the Next Generation Chemical Detector (NGCD) 2 - Surface Contaminant Locator (SCL). JPM NBC CA will use the information acquired from this RFI to optimize the SCHD acquisition strategy. The NAICS code for this RFI is 334519. The full detailed RFI is attached. All RFI responses are due by 3:30pm EST on 09 September 2016. Questions in response to this RFI are due by 4:00pm EST on 30 August 2016. Telephonic inquiries are not accepted.
