- Solicitation Amendment 01 This is a combines synopsis/solicitationThis is a notice that this order is a total set aside for Small Business. Only quotes submitted by Small Businesses will be accepted by the Government. Any quote that is submitted by a contractor that is not Small Business under NAICS identified below will not be considered for award. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) requires the services of one (1) sign language interpreter for DoDEA NY/VA/PR District during the School Year 2016-17 and Extended School Year-Summer - in support of the Special Education Program for DoD Domestic Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) located at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. Personnel performing work shall remain employees of a contractor and will not be considered employees of the Government. DDESS intends to award a firm fixed priced purchase order utilizing FAR parts 12 and 13. The expected period of performance is 24 August 2016 through 21 August 2017 plus 1 (12 month) Option Period. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611710 - Educational testing evaluation services. The solicitation number is HEVAS6-16-T-0049 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The submission due date and time for all offers is 23 August 2016, 2:00 Pm (EST). All inquiries must be submitted in writing via email to Hillary.turnbull@am.dodea.edu no later than 11:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 23 August 2016. No inquiries will be answered by telephone. DDESS is a federal government agency, an education activity, tax exempt, and qualified for academic/educational pricing. Offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation, any supporting documents, and any applicable amendment posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. Amendments to this RFQ may be posted to FedBizOps up to and until the due date.
