- PLANS SPECIFICATIONS WAGE RATES Solicitation W912EF-16-Q-0167 Subject: Attached is the solicitation for the Design, Fabrication and Installation of a new floating anchor which attach the existing log/debris boom to the dam face. Due date: 19 September 2016 10:00 AM NAICS Code: 332710 Contracting office address: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, 201 North Third Avenue, Walla Walla, WA 99362-1876. Subject: Pre-solicitation Notice for design, fabricate and install new floating anchors which attach the existing log/debris boom to the dam face. The new floating anchors would incorporate design changes to be more resilient to debris impingement which causes the floating anchors to get hung up during lake elevation changes at Dworshak Dam, Ahsahka, Idaho. Proposed solicitation number: W912EF-16-Q-0167 (W912EF16Q0167) Closing response date: Approximately 2 weeks from the date the solicitation is issued. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future detailing requirements for design, fabricate and install new floating anchors at Dworshak Dam, Ahsahka, Idaho. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Set-aside Status: The solicitation is scheduled to be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) size standard for this requirement is 500 employees. Conducting Business with the Government: In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management Registration (SAM). All Offerors must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov. By submission of a quote, a vendor acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. When available, the solicitation documents for this project will be accessible via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. No CD's or hard copies will be available.
