- Solicitation for the requirement, Solicitation close date has been reduced to 26 Aug 2016. The 82d Contracting Squadron at Sheppard AFB will be requesting quotations for Rental Vehicles to support the Sheppard AFB Air Show, Period of Performance from 14-19 September 2016. This acquisition shall be set-aside for Small Businesses only. The solicitation will be issued in the form of a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 23 Aug 2016. No hard copies will be provided. Once the solicitation is posted, it is essential that the interested parties review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The closing date for quotes is scheduled for 26 Aug 2016. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. SAM can be obtained through the Internet address: www.sam.gov. Prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code).
