Description

Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA James J. Peters VA medical center is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing "(Maintenance and Repair for Hudson Valley VA Medical Center)" The vendor will be responsible for, but not limited to: Background: Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, etc. for unlimited repair service visits, full preventive maintenance services for Government Owned Equipment listed under the schedule(s) of equipment in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, schedules and specifications of this solicitation. This full-service contract includes unlimited repair service visits, inspections, call-backs, parts and preventive maintenance (to be performed within 30 days of contract award). Completed equipment service must be compliant with manufacturers' specifications. Only instruments that meet the National Bureau of Standard's guidelines are used. Documentation is provided as required for compliance with OEM performance criteria and Good Laboratory Practices. SPECIFICATIONS SCHEDULE OF EQUIPMENT Manufacturer Model Item MedivatorADV-1007Sterilizer MedivatorADV-1007Sterilizer Contractor shall provide all tools, labor, transportation, supervision and parts, necessary to provide full maintenance and unlimited repair service visits, to include preventative maintenance and inspections for Medivator Equipment. SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE: This is a full service contract including unlimited repair service visits, all labor, parts, equipment, and travel to keep equipment in 1st class working condition the only work not included is labor rates on weekends. Preventative Maintenance Inspections must be performed following the manufacturers requirements in the service manuals. These inspections shall be documented to ensure compliance with manufacturers' compliance and meet The Joint Commission Standards. Unlimited on-site repairs by qualified service technicians Next business day, on-site response to a unit that is inoperable during normal working hours Mon-Fri 8:00a-4:30p, excluding Federal Holidays. QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS: Qualified technicians are defined as technicians that have been factory trained at Steris. The contractor shall provide written assurance to the competency of their personnel and a list of credentials of approved Field Service Engineer (FSE) for each make and model the contractor services at the VA. The Contracting Officer (CO may authenticate the training requirements, request training certificates or credentials' from the contractor at any time for any personnel who are servicing or installing any VA equipment. They must hold a valid and unexpired certificate. Technician must have all necessary passwords and software for any upgrades or work requiring specialized access. The FSE must have a minimum of three years experience with respect to scheduled and unscheduled preventive and remedial maintenance of sterilizing equipment. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811219. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification//socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 811219. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities for which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic category (ex: SBVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business). If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly CCR (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov).
