Description
Sole Source Notice of Intent Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 of the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to American Society of Health-System Pharmacist, 7272 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814. This is under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253 (c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed procurement is to provide Annual Accreditation Renewal Fee support for Bronx James J Peters VA Medical Center, 130 West Kingsbridge Rd, Bronx, NY 10468-3904. This agreement will be a firm fixed price contract. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 813910 and the size standard is $7.5 Million. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. General Information This is the annual accreditation fee for the accredited residency program. The accreditation fee is a requirement to keep the program active and to continue to receive Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) support. The fee covers accreditation site visits, periodic review, and support for improving residency training, and the use of the electronic resident evaluation system. Please response no later than August 26, 2016 at 3:00 PM EST, if you are able to provide the services.
