Description

Sole Source Justification for RADAR. AFSC/PZIOA Tinker Operational Contracting intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole-source basis to JVN Communications for the purchase of RADAR Simulation Injection Hardware to meet Operational Support Facility (OSF) mission requirements. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) only one responsible source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the work. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334511, Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1250 employees. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of any capabilities statements or documents prepared for this notice. NOTE: If documents are sent via e-mail, the contractor will be responsible for validating Government receipt by contacting the Sheridan Robison, Contract Specialist, at sheridan.robison@us.af.mil. No solicitation is available and telephone requests for information will not be accepted.
