- Synopsis: This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis for procurement of supplies and services for various office furniture for the following cemetery: Tallahassee National Cemetery 5015 Apalachee Parkway Tallahassee, FL 32311-3416 This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be interpreted as a commitment by the government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Department of Veteran Affairs, National Cemetery Administration (Tallahassee), is seeking qualified sources to provide all supplies, labor, tools, and assembly of furniture, furnishings and related supplies/services for an office setting, i.e. Administrative Building, Foreman/Caretaker Building, Multipurpose Room, and Dining Room. The contractor shall provide an itemized cost for each identifiable individual furnishing with summary total included. Installation services include delivery/inside delivery, coordination, unpacking, assembly/placement/leveling of product, removal of packing materials, and cleaning of product. Vendor maybe required to perform additional services that may be required in preparation for furniture installation on the job site. Attachment: Item description/specification Site Visit: A pre-bid site inspection is recommended. Contact the cemetery point of contact, Mr. Raymond Miller or designated representative at 850-402-8941 for making site visit arrangement. Prospective offerors are encouraged to schedule a site visit to familiarize themselves with the location and conditions affecting their quote. The purpose of this notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small-Businesses (VOSB), and Small Businesses under Source 71 (Multiple Category Furniture). North American Industry Classification code (NAICS) 337214, Office Furniture (except wood) Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard in number of employees is 500. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this requirement, the Government will use responses to this sources sought synopsis. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement will also depend on the response to this sources sought synopsis. Submission requirements for responses to this sources sought synopsis: SDVOSB/VOSB offerors interested in submitting a quote for this project, if it is formally advertised, must be registered and be verified in the www.vip.vetbiz.gov website and must provide the correct NAICS code to include the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) number, name of the firm, address, phone and point of contact. Potential contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award (see Internet site: http://www.sams.gov/), to include completion of representations and certifications.
