Outgoing Presort Mail Services inc. IMpb, IMb, Bar Code and USPS Compliance, Off-site Service for Oklahoma City VAHCS, Start: 01 Oct 2016, RFQ no. VA256-16-Q-1366 replaces canceled RFQ no. VA256-16-Q-1301 RFQ no. VA256-16-Q-1301 failed to identify a crucial requirement in the timing aspect of these services which - if not satisfied - could result in the VA Mission being compromised and potentially impacting patient care in a less than positive way. Solicitation number VA256-16-Q-1366 will identify the timeframe requirement for mail to be inserted into the USPS mail stream. Refer to the PWS in the new RFQ. Revisions are included in the sections covering Background and Tasks and Requirements. Minor changes have been made in the QASP to account for the change in the PWS. In addition to the above PWS change, an error was noted in Line Item 0001. Line Item 0001 in RFQ VA256-16-Q-1301 inaccurately reflected its original quantity. Flats were originally incorporated in the quantity with letters, in Line Item 0001, prior to the Amendment A00001 of VA25616Q1301. Line Item 0003 was implemented in A00001 to incorporate flats as a standalone item to distinguish its IMb requirement as opposed to that of letters. Therefore, the quantity of letters is reduced in the new RFQ VA25616Q1366.
