SECTION A - CONTRACT REQUIREMENT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format specified in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs, West Texas VA Health Care System located in Big Spring, TX requires one (1) DVD Burner System for Medical Records and Images. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89, effective August 15, 2016. The solicitation number is VA258-16-Q-0853, and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 334118, Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Delivery will be 60 days after award. This combined synopsis/solicitation is not to be construed as a commitment by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
