Description
Sources Sought Verbiage Statement of Work THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The 22nd Contracting Squadron is searching for firms who can provide a Canine Explosives Training Aide Outdoor Storage Container. It must meet the following standards and shall include: - The preassembled container must be GSA tested and approved as described in Federal Specification AA-V-2940 which requires a minimum of 15 minutes of protection against a multilevel tool attack. - The container shall meet ballistics resistance standard UL 752 Level 5 ballistic; UL 680 emergency vault ventilators; and UL 608 burglary resistant vault doors and modular panels. Shall furthermore meet or exceed Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) specs 27 CFR 555.11 and DoD 5100.76M. Lastly the magazine shall be in constructed accordance to spec Naval Sea Warfare Center -3046-93-1 and 3046-93-2, Pre-Engineered/Pre-Fabricated Steel Magazines. - The container shall meet ballistics resistance standard Underwriter Laboratories (UL) 752 Level 5 ballistic standards. Shall meet or exceed Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) specs 27 CFR 555.11 and DoD 5100.76M. The military magazines shall be in accordance to spec Naval Sea Warfare Center -3046-93-1 and 3046-93-2, Pre-Engineered/Pre-Fabricated Steel Magazines. - The explosive storage container shall be no smaller than 7' x 7' x 7' and be capable of storing Type 2 Class ABC materials. - All electrical conduit openings shall not exceed 1 inch in diameter, in accordance with AA-V-2940 - Shall include forklift pockets to move the container and weigh no more than 9,000 lbs. - Shall have no less than 2 electrical grounding kits that National Fire Protection Association standards - Must contain an exterior mounted ¼" welded enclosure to store an electrical panel. Must come ready to wire or have conduit outlets for an Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to monitor the security of the magazine. Must contain a hasp for a high security padlock on the exterior of the magazine. All standards of as described in Federal Specification AA-V-2940 must be met. - Exterior lighting shall be provided or affixed to the outside of the magazine in accordance with DoDM 5100.76 Enclosure 5. - - The following equipment shall be provided by the vendor: -- Sixteen (16) sand filled aluminum canister with handle and removable lids. -- Sand filled aluminum canister with handle. Used to separate specific training aids. -- Interior mounted aluminum storage rack with capacity to store 35 canisters at a minimum. -- Aluminum rack to transport up to 24 canisters. Rack must be able to fit in rear of small sized pickup. As part of its market research, 22 CONS/LGCA is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the requirement exists. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. No Request For Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which the 22 CONS/LGCA can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a RFQ. The Government does not intend to award a contract or BPAs based only on responses to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. 22 CONS/LGCA will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought.
